Teaching a dog on a leash?
Almost a year ago I took a neglected, abused Chihuahua. It's just in the last few months, that it has really begun to open and to allow and promote real attention, and so on. The only thing they do is refuse to be on a leash go. I tried to slip out of collars, harnesses, life jackets, etc. I have always, however, when an on her, she freezes and does not move, then somehow ends of them. I would really be for them in a position to enjoy the scenery and have a nice walk like the others, like (I always feel guilty leaving them behind). I also want to avoid her, because she put on some weight, and I do not think it healthy for them. I've tried, it led with goodies and things, but they will only be frozen and not moving. Any other suggestions on how to teach them to go to?
Been there done that with the same situation, and that is how I Delt with her! There is a dish you can buy on the lease pet stores that help with this situation and make it learn faster for them, I believe that they are called to draw any line. They work! Good luck!
