Soundproofing a room?
I have a band room in my house and I'm trying to soundproof it, preferably before my band mates on Friday Practice to come, but it's not a big deal. The thing is that the walls are made of wood in the room, and they are too hard to make real headway cage stuck, I can not something like nails or Velcro on them because we are trying to sell the house. If it helps, the room is about 10 x 20 and half of a wall is a sliding glass door and the opposite wall, usually made out bi-fold doors. The other two walls are slanted because the house is an A-frame. Any suggestions? Thank you.
If money is no object, you can buy 3 or 4 cm Styrofoam from the supply of an architect. The kind of things they use for structurally isolated Panels in the construction industry. They come in the leaves of about 10 meters, so you have some Hotwire and cut it to fit in your room might have. Another possibility would be to Plywood, cut to the dimensions of desire and staple cardboard egg cartons. Good luck!
