Walking a cat is possible with almost any cat. Just dont try with a leash, it wont work. It really has to be a walking jacket or else it has to be a VERY placid cat! The difference is the security that the cat gets from the jacket, which they dont get from a leash. Simple. Once a cat feels secure it will walk with you. My cat was a big outdoor cat, but after moving to a busy main road we had to make him an indoor cat. We tried all the leashes, no good. He got straight out in seconds. Tried the walking jacket, and it worked. Seriously, if there was ever a cat that was unlikely to take to a jacket it was ours: a semi-wild, farm cat! Now he walks with us. Amazing, really!
